Apple Valley Cafe | A Smoky Mountain Lunch Outing

Story Description:

The Apple Valley Cafe billboard seems to reveal itself on every recent trip we take toward Cades Cove. This charming restaurant in Townsend Tennessee is located inside the Apple Valley Mountain Village, a quaint area that is home to a general store, unique lodging options, a bistro, event venues, a coffee house, and of course our reason for stopping on this trip, the Apple Valley Cafe.

Known for its simple yet satisfying menu, the cafe serves fresh farm breakfasts, burgers, sandwiches, sweet treats, and more.

On this day, we were leaving Pigeon Forge and traveling through Wears Valley, planning a day outing deep into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. But before heading into the park, lunch was a must. Apple Valley Cafe seemed like the perfect choice.

More Story Details:

Upon arriving, we quickly realized why this cafe is so highly praised. It is conveniently close to the popular tourist areas of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, yet just far enough away to give a peaceful break from the crowds. The quiet, scenic surroundings make it an ideal spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy a meal for two. And with our appetites ready for a hearty lunch, it was exactly what we needed.

During our visit, we took a look at the menu options, admired the restaurant’s cozy décor, and of course indulged in whatever caught our attention from the simple but effective two-sided menu. Each dish is prepared with care and captures the down-to-earth charm of this mountain café.

Join us for lunch in the Great Smoky Mountains at Apple Valley Cafe, a hidden gem where good food, a peaceful atmosphere, and the beauty of the Smokies come together perfectly.
