Conveniently positioned along the route toward the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, this picnic spot is simple to access and easy to overlook if you are not paying attention. We have passed by it countless times while heading out to drive the motor loop, never realizing how inviting it truly was.
With Sarah packing the cooler full of goodies, the weather cooperating beautifully, and midday hunger setting in, the timing was finally right to stop and explore. It was the perfect opportunity to slow down, enjoy a meal, and discover a charming park that had been hiding in plain sight.
