After multiple years of near misses in our attempts to encounter the massive ape who calls a remote island of skulls and dense jungle his home, we had finally arrived and our moment was at hand.

With great excitement, we found ourselves back in Orlando, Florida for a fun one day Park to Park exploration at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.
Skull Island Reign of Kong was firmly in our sights, and the wait was nearly over. There was still a bit of time spent in the queue, but it was well worth it. The temple pre show alone perfectly set the mood for the adventure that followed.
Having always enjoyed the many King Kong films of the past, and proudly calling ourselves fans of this towering primate who pounds his chest, scales towering structures, and fiercely protects his human companion, King Kong easily earns a place among our favorite movie characters of monstrous scale.
